Actually, yes this year! Just want to invite you to the 2009 Hoffman Turkey Shoot.
(disclaimer: no turkeys will be hurt in this friendly competition.)
Planned for this Saturday, November 14. We will have a shooting competition, and the winner will take home a thanksgiving turkey!
Cost: $10 for ammo
Do not come if you don't RSVP!!! Children, Women and Turkey's welcome.
We need shotguns, so if you can get one that is great. Better if it can be passed around.
We will meet @ the crack of noon (exact time pending) at the OM's house - 737 E 150 N, Springville

Sounds like fun! You should have told me you were in St. George- I would have come and watch the competition! :)

If anyone wants to provide feedback to make next year better, let me know... Did you think the cost was okay? Want less snow? I think I want the competition part to be more organized so it goes quicker, and we can get on to the games faster... Also I want more of you guys to come, and more of you to own shotguns. We had 13 contestants, 4 shotguns, 5ish handguns (1 45, 2 9mm, 1 40, 1 high velocity pistol of forgotten caliber), an sweet AR-15 w/ 10" barrel and stuff, and an M91. and explosive high velocity targets.
