30 Days, 30 Ways: Day 8

Day 8: Event - A CHEAP 5K for a GREAT cause! I'm really excited about today's post! On Saturday, September 24th HopeKids is going to be holding their major fundraiser for the year (i.e. the way they make a lot of the money they need to keep doing the great things they do): the 3rd Annual HopeKids Wasatch Adventure! It is a funwalk/5K race on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake.

REGISTRATION IS FREE! So, come join us! HopeKids is just asking that each team raise at least $100. That's it! That means you can make a $5 or $10 donation to our team and run in a 5K race! What a deal! Normally your entry fees for a 5K would be somewhere around $25-30 - THIS IS A BARGAIN! It's a win-win situation: HopeKids gets the money the need and you get to run in a cheap 5K.

So, whether you want to walk the funwalk (a 1 mile walk with adventure stations along the way - you never know who you might run into! This is great for kids!), participate in the 5K walk, or go for the 5K run - please come join Team Elena and help us raise money for HopeKids! Registration starts at 9am and the race starts at 10:30am.
