| "Little update this morning: He is doing well this morning, as of early this morning when we were with him. It is an uphill battle, but his labs showed lots of tiny improvements in the right direction. Ph is slightly higher, oxygen needs were only at 24, blood pressure was up In a bit better range. He is looking jaundiced so they will probably be putting him under the lights soon. We were able to touch him and I think he is just the sweetest and a total cutie. :) I also started pumping and have been getting some colostrum! Exciting! The NICU doc is super enthusiastic about breast feeding and how hyrum needs my milk for the best chance of survival. I am so pleased about that." |
