Our first annual Hoffman Turkey Shoot was a success! Although no one who participated wanted a turkey this year, so I guess we were just shooting for the glory. :) We had a lot of fun - thanks everyone for coming! We have some awesome friends and family.
And Eric says: If anyone wants to provide feedback to make next year better, let me know... Did you think the cost was okay? Want less snow? I think I want the competition part to be more organized so it goes quicker, and we can get on to the games faster... Also I want more of you guys to come, and more of you to own shotguns. :) We had 13 contestants, 4 shotguns, 5ish handguns (1 45, 2 9mm, 1 40, 1 high velocity pistol of forgotten caliber), a sweet AR-15 w/ 10" barrel and stuff, and an M91. and explosive high velocity targets.
So, there you go. Mark your calendars for next November. :)

Ahhh, I totally forgot to talk with Dustin about this..I'm sorry :( Things have been crazy as we're getting down to the last few weekends to use to prepare for the baby! It looks like fun!
Too much freaking fun for one morning. I mean come on! Was it really fair that we got to do that while other people sat around watching men in tights throwing around a dead pig? If only they knew what they were missing out on. Give me gun powder and snow any day!

It was awesome. Thank you so much for doing this. I wasn't sure I wanted to go with the snow and we'd been so sick. But I was sooo glad we did:) Did Ryan ever pay you for Josh? I know he meant to but don't know if the $10 made it out of his wallet. Let us know. I think maybe each year whom ever doesn't care to go needs to watch babies:) That's the only thing I would have changed!
