That is one of Elena's favorite phrases these days. :)
This morning, we woke up to a news story talking about how Utah's air quality is the worst in the nation. Can you say, "inversion" anyone? Really, really bad inversion. Blegh, it's so yucky. Our air quality index is 142, compared with San Fransisco's 67 and Las Vegas' 23. It's pretty insane. The top five worst places for air quality in the nation are all in Utah.
Excellent.
Logan, Ogden, Provo, Salt Lake City and someplace up by the Utah/Idaho border.
So, needless to say, we are in need of a good snowstorm. Or else we might all die :) And with that segue, on to the actual point of this post....
Over Christmas break we did get a couple good storms. Eric had some time off of work and so we all went out into the snow to play. It was SO much fun! This is the first year that Elena has enjoyed the snow. :) We did a little sledding, built a snowman, taught Elena how to have a snowball fight, and made snow angels. Then we came inside and had hot chocolate (Stephen's Orange Creme - what, what! It's my new favorite.) Fortunately for us, our awesome landlord came out and documented our fun because I always, always, always seem to forget my camera. :)
(And no making fun of us - well, mostly me - we hadn't gotten ready for the day, so there is crazy hair and a shameful lack of make-up. haha...)

Fun pictures!
and this inversion is nasty/discusting/gross/awful, etc. At first I kept asking Jake, "why is it all foggy? Its so hard to see anything" then it clicked. hmmm, can't be good for our bodies!!
ahh! looks like fun!!(happy belated birthday!!)
well i was about to make fun of you, but you asked so nicely, so i guess i want.
HA! oh wait, i'm still in my pjs today and it's 7:00 pm.
inversion stinks! it's kind of scary when you're told not to take your kids outside for long periods of time. i blame utah for this cold i can't kick.
and finally (and most importantly), that looks like tons of fun! i really want to go sledding now!
I think we should pick a day and all head to Jolley's Ranch for sledding! They have a nice groomed trail.
Your pictures are so cute!
Cute pictures.
And ick ick ick to this air. Hate it. Please go away inversion!
