17 days until the first BYU football game!!!
Boom baby!
We are so excited here in the Hoffman house! Eric doesn't watch too many sports, but he makes up for it by being obsessed with BYU Football. (BYU Basketball comes in a close second.) Every day he comes home and reads about how the day went at Fall Camp and gives me the highlights. Lucky for him, I also love me some BYU football in a big way. :)
This last weekend, the football team had several open practices. On Saturday morning, while my family was in town, we went to the stadium and checked it out. And man, oh man, did it get us excited for the season to officially start! Ah! Seriously. Can. Not. Wait.

Which quarterback will it be - Heaps or Nelson? Both had good and bad moments on Saturday... we couldn't call it.
We totally believe in indoctrination of our children when it comes to rooting for BYU. :) haha... Elena already looks like an avid fan.

During the scrimmage, Elena kept calling the football players "the scary guys". When we were walking out to the car, we met up with my mom and she started telling Grammie about the scary guys and then asked if they were going to come get her at her house. :)

yay, BYU football! i like that you guys are so into it because then i get the updates too. you guys look so cute dressed in your BYU attire, although i gotta say, i can't believe you made your baby boy wear a bow. awkward.

Count us in too! How much are tickets? (Too bad we can't all go to the game in Florida with Danny & Kristi!) At any rate, we need to find a good viewing location, (and I'll try to muzzle your father if he starts making unappreciated comments!).
