Three already

What words are there for Lily? Adorable, sweet as can be, cute, highly squishable, angelic, hilarious, snuggly, pint-size ;), and quiet possibly the most delightful little human that ever was. Lily is the most charming, awesome little lady imaginable. We can't get enough of her and are soooooo thankful that she is a part of our family.

This is the child who asked for salmon, broccoli, and grape tomatoes for her birthday dinner.

Who is quick to apologize when she makes a mistake and is (usually) eager to help.

Except when we're cleaning the playroom or her bedroom and then she quietly and conveniently finds a toy in the living room to content herself with. She's quick as a whip and a little saucy.

Who asks grown up questions with big words out of no-where that make us smile really big.

Who loves playing with dinosaurs, lizards, and pretending to be Diego (Dora's cousin), complete with "Rescue Pack". And who then turns around half an hour later and comes out of the playroom in full ballerina dress up and fancy shoes and asks me to turn on "ballet music" to dance to.

Who says "Ha-dios!" ("Adios", but with an "h") to Eric when he's walking out the door to work.

Who, when she's had enough, will turn around to a little boy chasing her and say in her very little, but exasperated voice, "You leave me alone now! I just want to be alone." She can handle herself - make no mistake about that.

Who is teeny tiny still (but aren't teeny-tiny versions of things so adorable?) and continues to LOVE to snuggle. Her purple or blue "ghen-kie" (blankie) with tassels can make any situation better.

Who has the sweetest, most sensitive spirit and knows how to give people really good hugs right when they need them.

We thank the Lord He sent Lily to our family right when He did. She is an incalculable gift and joy to us all. She is perfect and a miracle and has done amazing things for us in these three quick years. We love you, little Lils! The Happiest of Happy Birthdays to our sweet girl!
