New life

Seeing a little patch of hair on Elena's head makes me feel like it's springtime and the buds are starting to come out on the trees. I love it - it just puts a smile on my face. And her fuzzy head is awfully fun to rub :)

She's got a good inch of hair now. The doctor told us that it will fall out again - probably in the next (really hard) round of chemo. Oh well. It's been a fun few months watching it grow back. And it gives me hope. Someday this will all be behind us - every trace.

I never thought I would have a girl with a mohawk :) It does that on it's own!

Her head is seriously super fun to rub. That girl always puts a smile on my face. Her smiles and laughter is absolutely contagious. We should have a pampering/girly party when her hair comes in for good.

Lovin' the mohawk!!! So cute. Was it not like that when she was born? Either way, there is hope. The middle pic she looks so happy and confident!

So cute. I thought the same thing when I saw her peach fuzz--it's a good reminder that it will come back and things will be normal again. There will be life after chemo.

So cute! One day it will all be behind you. My mom always says "this, too, shall pass." It's hard to remember in times like this, but it's true.
