This little lady...

...has been trying to crawl for the last two weeks.

We're cheering her on and enjoying watching her progress (she moves her legs, but hasn't figured out how to move her arms yet), but also trying to savor the last few days/weeks of "quiet" before she can get everywhere. :)

I just had lunch with a good friend and her one year old a few weeks ago and I had forgotten how busy, busy, busy little ones are when their curiosity about EVERYTHING is enabled by mobility. Elena can get just about anywhere/anything she wants, but she isn't quite as curious anymore (at least about getting into everything) and has learned some boundaries.

Good thing babies are so cute. :)

I love her 6 month pictures! So exciting that ELena has a bit of hair now--I loved your post about your conversation with the lady who has a daughter with the other case of cancer. This is so humbling to see and read your posts--

Such a darling! I know the contradicting feelings, I am excited for Lucy to finally roll over (she gets closer every day) but then I realize that that means I can't just leaver her on the changing table or my bed anymore:P Good luck with the upcoming chase!
