So, we thought we'd just buzz enough off to even her hair out, but not lose everything.
We got down to about 1/2 an inch of hair and the bald spots were still awful looking.
I really wanted to make sure her hair grew back in evenly, so after a few minutes of teeth gnashing and sighing, I told Eric just to shave the rest all off. Elena said she didn't mind and we figured, well, she has cancer - when else can you get away with shaving your head as a girl?
So we did it. She is bald once more. For the freaking last time, okay Miss Elena?!
Interesting to see the differences between shaving a head bald and having a bald head because the hair fell out. This time she had a little "five o'clock" shadow since the hair was actually still there under the surface and hadn't fallen all the way out. And now - within four or five days of shaving it- she already has a millimeter or two of growth! After our experiences over the last year, it's CRAZY to us how fast it is growing in now. It's like normal hair!

It's not really fair that she's THAT adorable even without hair. Because if I didn't have any hair... well... not so adorable. And I heart Elena's glasses in a big way!
Do ya think...perhaps she just PREFERS her cute little bald head??!! lol! Ahhhh, the number of times I've thought about taking the clippers to mine...on those days when it just won't do ANYTHING??!! But, alas, I doubt that I would look nearly as cute as Elena does!! Fear not, mum, it will grow back...quickly!! Love to you guys!!

She has such a cute little bald head! And she pulls it off so well. Such a cute girl! Oh ya, I also wanted to tell you. Will and I were talking the other day and he kept asking where his best friend was. When I asked him who his best friend was he told me "You know, Elena. From the cupcake place. She my best friend! Where is she? I want to play with her." When Elena's counts are up again we need to plan a get together. We miss you guys!
